Requiem de Brahms

Experience an evening of depth and lyricism with two masterpieces of German Romanticism. Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto enchants with its elegance, virtuosity and luminous melodies, while Brahms’s A German Requiem offers a deeply human and comforting vision of life, death and hope. Moving between brilliance and contemplation, this programme combines the concerto’s grace with Brahms’s spiritual and choral power. Performed by the Orchestre Philharmonique et Chœur des Mélomanes under the direction of Francis Choinière, the concert features violinist Guillaume Villeneuve and soloists Aline Kutan (soprano) and Geoffroy Salvas (bass).
