Payare dirige la Grande Messe en ut

Rafael Payare invites us to rediscover three facets of Mozart: contemplation, celebration and grace. In the Great Mass in C minor, begun for his convalescent wife Constanze, spiritual fervour mingles with deeply human passion. The Gloria seems to give thanks for life, while the Kyrie conveys the gravity of a heart that has come close to loss. Two gems complete this all-Mozart evening: the nocturnal elegance of Eine kleine Nachtmusik and the jubilant brilliance of Exsultate, jubilate.
