Variations: La caravane jazz

For one evening, the Orchestre symphonique de Laval takes you into the world of jazz with the Guillaume Martineau Trio. From classical music and French songs by Brel to Duke Ellington melodies and familiar Beatles tunes, this varied program features works reimagined and orchestrated by Éric Lagacé and Hugo Bégin for a jazz trio and symphony orchestra. Active and well established on Quebec's jazz scene, the trio features pianist Guillaume Martineau (Radio-Canada Jazz Revelation, 2015–2016), double bassist Éric Lagacé and drummer Mark Nelson.
