It’s a busy year for Philippe Laprise! He is launching his fifth one-man show in a 25-year career while celebrating his 50th birthday. A father of three children and a dog, co-owner of a baseball team and in a relationship for nearly 25 years, he also almost won (but not really) Sortez-moi d’ici and LOL : Qui rira le dernier? Philippe has truly exceeded his loved ones’ expectations—and his own! In this solo show, Philippe asks what it really means to be at the top in today’s rapidly changing world. Now at an “almost” venerable age, he embraces who he is and has nothing left to lose. Au sommet is an unfiltered show with a generous dose of self-deprecating humour. The road to the top is long, especially when your thighs rub together, so let’s get going and follow Philippe to the summit!
