Hailing from New Brunswick, in the heart of Acadia, La famille LeBlanc is a family ensemble that carries on Acadian musical heritage with sensitivity and authenticity. Made up of two parents and their three daughters, the group revisits 19th-century tunes rooted in Acadian and Celtic traditions, bringing a contemporary approach to the repertoire. The daughters perform and compose music inspired by these traditions, playing concertina, whistle and fiddle, while their mother lends her voice to old ballads in rich, moving harmonies. Their father, a multi-instrumentalist, accompanies them on piano and fiddle with arrangements blending traditional music, jazz and Baroque influences. Passed down through generations, this music becomes a living space for sharing traditions, transforming memory into creation. La famille LeBlanc offers a musical experience that is rooted in tradition, radiant and deeply unifying.
