Veranda

From afar, you can already hear fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo and double bass: the party is in full swing on the veranda of this folk-country-bluegrass group, a warm place sheltered from the passage of time. With more than 250 shows across Canada and in Europe, Veranda returns with a brand-new show that captures the energizing, communal spirit of a good old-fashioned kitchen party. Formed in 2018 at Barfly, a bluegrass hotspot in Montréal, Veranda brings together actor Catherine-Audrey Lachapelle and multi-instrumentalist Léandre Joly-Pelletier. Their music blends the sensitivity of old-time country with the virtuosity of bluegrass, offering rich melodies and polished harmonies.
