Drop-in hockey is a recreational activity for individual practice or friendly games, depending on the number of participants. This time slot is for people aged 50 and over. The activity takes place at Aréna Paul-et-Isabelle-Duchesnay. No reservation is required.
Accès Gatineau+ card: it must be presented at the reception desk upon arrival. Eligible Accès Gatineau+ cardholders receive free admission. Published rates effective September 1, 2026: adults aged 50 to 64: $15.00 per adult; seniors aged 65 and over: $7.50 per senior. Debit or credit card only. Cash is not accepted.
Code of conduct Required equipment: a helmet with a full face shield, a neck guard and gloves must be worn at all times. Clothing that fully covers the arms and legs is required. Skates are mandatory for everyone on the ice. Game guidelines and rules: follow the age group associated with the time slot. Maintain a friendly, participatory spirit (non-competitive activity). Adjust your speed and play to the skill level and number of players on the ice. Follow the supervisor's instructions at all times. Prohibited on the ice: gathering or loitering along the edge of the rink; sitting on the boards; roughhousing or pushing; drinking, eating or smoking; spitting on the ice or on the players' benches. Supervisors oversee the activity and have the authority to require any offender to leave immediately.
