Sandman

Presented by Time Warp Promotions, Sandman is the only Metallica-sanctioned tribute band and has been blowing audiences away since 1994. Members Rick Van Dyk (lead vocals and lead/rhythm guitar), Joe Di Taranto (lead/rhythm guitar and vocals), Paulo Fonseca (bass and vocals), and Brent Niemi (drums) collectively bring a lifetime of experience playing and recording music. In early 2016, the members of Metallica gave Sandman their blessing to pay tribute to their music, leading to a momentous meeting at Toronto’s famed Opera House in November 2016. The band has recently played sold-out shows in Dubai and has just come off Metallica’s World M72 tour through the U.S. and Canada.
