Étienne Dano Pénard

Pénard is Quebec comedian Étienne Dano’s third one-man show. He explores time, the pressure to perform and the illusion of always being relaxed in a world where everything is speeding up and slowing down is almost unconventional. According to Le Petit Larousse, “pénard” means being tranquil and free from worries. Étienne Dano plays on this contrast: on the surface, everything is fine, but inside, there is a search for calm. The result is a show paced in his own way, filled with jokes, observations and self-deprecating humour. If you enjoy Dano online, on the radio or as Pierre Hébert’s opening act, discover him in this show, where his sharp comic delivery and laid-back magnetism will win you over.
