Bienveillant

As the news brims with explosive topics, strong opinions and homegrown contradictions, comedian Guy Nantel returns with a brand-new show bearing an intriguing title: Bienveillant. Meaning “benevolent,” it is hardly the word most readily associated with a comedian known for his frankness, critical eye and uncompromising sociopolitical humour. With biting insight and well-placed irony, Nantel exposes our collective flaws, inconsistencies and the major debates of our time. In his seventh show, he continues to surprise us, disarm us and, above all, make us laugh out loud. But one question remains: how does he manage to do it with benevolence?
