Dans l'univers d'Astor

Dans l’univers d’Astor is a musical and storytelling performance by Ensemble Mistral that immerses audiences in the life stories, music and inspirations of Astor Piazzolla, the Argentine composer and bandoneon player considered the greatest tango innovator of the 20th century. From New York to Paris via Buenos Aires, Mistral presents an original portrait that interweaves his works with classical music, jazz, traditional tango, klezmer music and fascinating biographical anecdotes. Bringing together jazz and classical musicians, Ensemble Mistral creates multidisciplinary concerts with distinctive instrumentation: violin, saxophones, flute, clarinet, guitar and double bass. Running time: 75 minutes, without intermission.
