Marie Chouinard presents a selection of signature solos and duets from her repertoire, followed by Henri Michaux: Mouvements. From S.T.A.B. to Lascia ch’io pianga, through OUTCH!, Rires-Pleurs and En conversations, the choreographer brings the intimate and the monumental into dialogue. In the second half, poet and painter Henri Michaux’s Mouvements (1951), a collection comprising a long poem and 64 India ink drawings, becomes a choreographic score. Driven by Louis Dufort’s music, the dancers’ bodies echo projections of the drawings. The selection of works is subject to change. The performance includes strobe effects and partial nudity.
