An explosion of styles, energies and artistic voices, FireWorks brings together 12 leading figures in contemporary dance for a choreographic celebration by Gauthier Dance//Dance Company Theaterhaus Stuttgart. To mark the 40th anniversary of the company’s German home, Eric Gauthier challenged a dozen internationally renowned choreographers to create a work set to music reflecting the artistic identity of Theaterhaus Stuttgart and its established jazz tradition. The evening opens with Barak Marshall and concludes with Andonis Foniadakis’s spectacular Bolero + on trampolines. In between are works by Hofesh Shechter, Benjamin Millepied, Virginie Brunelle, Johan Inger, Marco Goecke, Stijn Celis, Dominique Dumais, Mauro Bigonzetti, Sofia Nappi and Eric Gauthier.
