L'Instant baroque : Œuvres célèbres pour clavecin

Harpsichordist Luc Beauséjour invites you to set everyday life aside for a timeless moment, as the harpsichord brings three centuries of beauty to life. Bach reveals his radiance and depth, while Handel and Purcell express their stately nobility. French Baroque music adds wit and tenderness: Daquin’s cuckoo, d’Agincourt’s turtledoves, Couperin’s mysteries and Rameau’s fiery energy. Through finely crafted dances, suspended melodies and birdsong, this program offers an intimate journey into the European harpsichord repertoire. The harpsichordist guides the audience with engaging insights and warm humour. A rare moment of shared splendour. Art encounter: Eddy Firmin — Boulagèl andidan Lawond.
