Orphée aux enfers

Orphée aux enfers, Jacques Offenbach’s most outrageous operetta, is staged by Alain Zouvi, with musical and artistic direction by Julien Patenaude. Nine soloists, 40 choristers and the Opéra bouffe du Québec orchestra invite you to rediscover this brilliant, satirical work blending humour, virtuosity and fantasy. The gods are bored, Orpheus sulks, Eurydice runs away and Public Opinion scolds… in short, everything is going wrong—and it’s hilarious.
