Holiday in Zürich

Written by Colleen Murphy and directed by Micheline Chevrier, Holiday in Zürich is a tender and darkly funny portrait of a happily married Canadian couple in their 70s preparing for a trip to Switzerland. Frank is approaching the most difficult challenge of his life, while Clementine, known as Tiny, dreams of sightseeing, romance, and European cuisine. As they pack their suitcases, their differing expectations collide in exchanges that are both funny and moving. Set almost entirely in their bedroom, the play explores love, mortality, and the imperfect but brave ways people face the end of things together. This world premiere stars Brian Dooley and Danielle Desormeaux.
