Joni Mitchell, Mama Cass, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Carole King, The Eagles - these are just a handful of the extraordinary songwriters who took up residence in the legendary neighbourhood of Laurel Canyon in California. Located just outside Los Angeles, this artist commune created a musical alchemy that birthed some of the greatest songs and artists of the 20th Century. Alicia Toner and Mike Ross have created one of Harmony House's signature docu-concerts, taking you on a deep dive into the music of this unique time and place that produced music that became the soundtrack of our lives. Featuring four of Atlantic Canada's most electric artists - Brielle Ansems, Emilea May, Robin Anne Ettles, and Alicia Toner - this distinguished quartet of will tell us the story of this incredible time in music history and celebrate the songs that came out of Laurel Canyon.
