The Piano Teacher

Following a catastrophic family tragedy, concert pianist Erin finds herself unable to play music, much less touch a piano. Seeking to overcome her pain and loss, she turns to Elaine, an unconventional piano teacher whose heartfelt and empathetic guidance helps Erin see hope for the future. Written by Dorothy Dittrich, this touching drama, seasoned with humour, won the 2022 Governor General’s Award for Drama and celebrates friendship, healing and the power of music to transform.
