The Velveteen Rabbit

A new adaptation of Margery Williams’ classic children’s story with original music, choreography and shadow puppetry. Reimagined in the modern day, The Velveteen Rabbit follows a shy toy who wants nothing more than to become “real”—to be truly loved by the child who cares for him. Discover the unbreakable bond between the Rabbit and the Girl as they encounter outlandish characters and major toy-world crises, with singing, dancing and plenty of fun along the way. Audience members are encouraged to bring their favourite stuffed animal for a chance for it to be featured in the show. This one-hour production is recommended for Pre-K to Grade 3.
