The Lady Next Door

Two very different neighbours share a common yard: Vana is orderly and organized, while Huguette is messy and exuberant. Huguette delights in singing loudly while hanging laundry, camping in her yard, and riding her acrobatic bicycle—much to Vana’s chagrin. Her overflowing garbage cans and snoring don’t help! Together, they learn to communicate and discover they may not be so different after all… They might even become friends. Le Gros Orteil blends clowning, theatre, and circus arts in performances for young audiences. With no fourth wall, the performers invite children to share in their stories, emotions, and reflections.
