Drop-in badminton

Season: fall 2026.

Drop-in badminton for all ages at École secondaire Nouvelle-Ère.

Capacity: 24 people at a time (four people per court). The autumn programme runs from September 14 to December 13, 2026, with Sunday sessions at 9:00–9:55, 10:00–10:55, 11:00–11:55, 13:00–13:55, 14:00–14:55 and 15:00–15:55. Sunday sessions are cancelled September 20, November 1 and November 15, 2026.

A valid Accès Gatineau + card is required and provides free admission. No payment is accepted on site. At school sites, courts are assigned in arrival order for the first time block; later blocks prioritize people who have not yet had a court, and vacant courts are assigned by lottery among players already present. Players in the waiting line must remain on site. Show a valid card at reception.

When demand is high, doubles may be required regardless of skill; solo players may be paired with willing players.

Private training and lessons are not permitted; open play only.

Bring your own equipment; none is available to borrow or rent on site. Non-marking athletic shoes are required. Court access is subject to availability.

Court entry is permitted 10 minutes before the activity begins.
