Parent-and-child drop-in badminton

Season: fall 2026.

Parent-and-child drop-in badminton for children ages 12 and under accompanied by a parent at École primaire de l’Amérique-Française.

Capacity: 12 people at a time (four people per court).

A valid Accès Gatineau + card is required and provides free admission. No payment is accepted on site. At school sites, courts are assigned in arrival order for the first time block; later blocks prioritize people who have not yet had a court, and vacant courts are assigned by lottery among players already present. Players in the waiting line must remain on site. Show a valid card at reception.

When demand is high, doubles may be required regardless of skill. Children must remain accompanied by a parent.

Private training and lessons are not permitted; open play only.

Bring your own equipment; none is available to borrow or rent on site. Non-marking athletic shoes are required. Court access is subject to availability.

Court entry is permitted 10 minutes before the activity begins.
