Drop-in badminton

Season: fall 2026.

Drop-in badminton for all ages at École secondaire Hormisdas-Gamelin.

Capacity: 24 people at a time. Tuesday sessions take place in gym C-130-131; Wednesday sessions in gyms C-130-131 and C-132; Friday sessions in gym C-132; Saturday sessions in gym C-132; and Sunday sessions in gym C-130-131. Saturday sessions are cancelled October 24, November 21, December 5 and 12, 2026. Sunday sessions are cancelled October 25, November 8 and 15, and December 6, 2026.

A valid Accès Gatineau + card is required and provides free admission. No payment is accepted on site. At school sites, courts are assigned in arrival order for the first time block; later blocks prioritize people who have not yet had a court, and vacant courts are assigned by lottery among players already present. Players in the waiting line must remain on site. Show a valid card at reception.

When demand is high, doubles may be required regardless of skill; solo players may be paired with willing players.

Private training and lessons are not permitted; open play only.

Bring your own equipment; none is available to borrow or rent on site. Non-marking athletic shoes are required. Court access is subject to availability.

Court entry is permitted 10 minutes before the activity begins.
