Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Presented By City Centre Musical Productions

Meadowvale Theatre is a performing arts facility and community cultural hub. Recently reopened after renovations, it welcomes audiences back to a revitalized space where they can once again enjoy live performances and events. The theatre is accessibly designed, with an accessible drop-off zone near the main entrance, accessible washrooms, accessible seating and assistive hearing devices. Net capacity: 395. Two con men, a beautiful woman and the elite of the French Riviera collide in this sexy and irreverent farce based on the popular 1988 MGM film. Lawrence Jameson makes his lavish living by talking rich ladies out of their money. Freddy Benson more humbly swindles women by awakening their compassion with fabricated stories about his grandmother’s failing health. After meeting on a train, they attempt to work together, only to find that this small French town isn’t big enough for the two of them. They strike a deal: whoever swindles $50,000 from a young heiress, Christine Colgate, wins. The loser must leave town. A hilarious battle of cons ensues, with twists that will keep audiences laughing, humming and guessing to the end! 14 Accompaniment (formerly PG 13) — May contain violence, coarse language or sexually suggestive scenes, or any combination of them. Suitable for viewers 14 years of age or older. Viewers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
