The 3L

The “3Ls” refer to three icons of Quebec popular music in the 1960s and rising stars of the APEX label: MICHEL LOUVAIN, PIERRE LALONDE AND DONALD LAUTREC. They were soon recognized for defining the musical culture of this pivotal era in Quebec. Their careers were said to have been managed American-style. And so they set the tone for what became the golden age of records and television here at home. The 3Ls represent more than 100 hit songs that we still hum today and recognize from the very first notes, the very first chords. Backed by brilliant musicians, our three singers will be portrayed by Michael Rancourt (impersonator), Benoit Labonté (Souviens-Toi-Joe) and Jean-Pierre Lalonde, Pierre Lalonde’s son. Mezzanine and balcony accessible by stairs only. Ages 18 and over. You may be asked for proof of age. Latecomers are admitted to the venue during a break. Please plan your travel arrangements. Please note that tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
