THE ACTION plus ROCKET 88

THE ACTION and ROCKET 88 share the bill for a night of punk rock. Described as Canada's first punk band, THE ACTION toured with the Ramones and opened for the Stranglers' North American debut. Fronted by vocalist Ted Axe, the band released its self-titled EP in 1978, featuring "TV's On The Blink." ROCKET 88 brings retro punk rock sounds in the vein of the Ramones, Teenage Head, Dead Boys, MC5, Sex Pistols and Misfits.
