Every drop of water tells a story. In Water Words, water connects two friends living worlds apart. Meet Mamby, whose feet burn on the hot sands of Senegal as she walks to gather water, and Hélène, whose toes tingle in winter boots in Canada’s snowy abundance. In this visually stunning production, their vast differences fuel a shared imagination. Through movement, live music, and poetic storytelling, Water Words invites you and your children into a playful world where rain, snow, and rivers come alive right before your eyes. Text, staging and interpretation by Mamby Mawine and Hélène Ducharme. A Motus and Djarama co-production.
