Hommage à Vienne

Hommage à Vienne – The New Year’s Concert returns to Montréal for the holiday season with Europaballet St. Pölten and international ballroom dance champions. Combining music and dance, the show evokes Vienna’s golden age through the music of Johann Strauss II, the “Waltz King.” Featuring elegant costumes and lavish floral arrangements, this annual tradition brings together European singers, internationally renowned dancers and a full orchestra. The program includes overtures, arias and duets, including the celebrated Blue Danube. Presented with humour and a light touch by an expert in Viennese music, this festive performance invites audiences to waltz into the new year.
