The HiP Machine

Inspired by the band, the man and the machine, THE HiP MACHINE brings the music of The Tragically Hip to the stage the way it was meant to be heard live. The show aims to recapture some of the energy and presence of the band's live performances, along with the memories shared by fans. Darryl Aspin of Hitcher fame brings strong vocals and high-energy performances, backed by guitarist Mike Rewegen, drummer Seth McNamara, bassist Stephen Reid and lead guitarist Mike Marinuk. After six years as a founding member of another Ontario Hip tribute, Marinuk delivers performances faithful to the albums and live recordings. He also helps shape a concert experience that goes beyond the music, adding a visual element that deepens the connection to the songs.
