Cigale

Philippe B’s vibrant folk songs have resonated on the music scene for more than 20 years. The singer-songwriter from Abitibi returns with Cigale, his seventh album, delving deeper than ever into his memories. Drawing on his youth to portray life as an early-career musician, he explores universal themes such as the passage of time, aging and the development of identity. In this intimate performance, Philippe B presents new songs alongside his classics. Alone on stage, alternating between acoustic guitar and piano, he invites audiences to rediscover his music from a new perspective: rawer and more personal, yet just as poignant.
