Gala du Nouvel An Chinois au Canada

The 2027 Chinese New Year Gala presents “Entrer dans le tableau,” a journey through millennia of Chinese civilization where history, poetry and legend meet. The show brings together classical Chinese dance, traditional and folk dances, Peking opera, Chinese martial arts, traditional instrumental music and beloved classics of Chinese song. From the Dunhuang murals along the Silk Road to the traditions of Peking opera, each scene reveals a facet of Chinese cultural heritage. The new choreographic work “Chinatown – La Suite” traces the historical journey of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and the history of Chinese communities abroad.
