ZONDER AYELEN PAROLIN

In ZONDER, Belgian choreographer Ayelen Parolin embraces a theory of imperfection, intertwining composition and decomposition to welcome uncertainty, mistakes and accidents as pathways to other possibilities. Three exuberant, endearing and sensitive performers construct, deconstruct and reconstruct the dance through a series of absurd adventures. Drawing notably on Dadaism, this trio explores the unexpected in a work that is both funny and serious, nightmarish and joyful. A brief introduction precedes the performance, and an optional moderated discussion follows.
