Raccoon x Ya Cetidon

Connexion presents Raccoon x Ya Cetidon. Raccoon’s Quebec rap blends European-style lyrical refinement, punchy American-style flows and his Haitian cultural background. His nuanced, socially engaged writing is touched with humour. Named Radio-Canada’s Rap Revelation for 2020–2021, he has performed at Osheaga and the ADISQ gala. Originally from Congo-Brazzaville and now based in Montreal and Laval, Ya Cetidon blends afrobeat, hip-hop, R&B and dancehall. His music bridges cultures and languages, driven by his stage energy, natural ease and sense of rhythm. He has collaborated with Afara Tsena and Loud and opened for Tiakola, Niska and Koba LaD.
