Laurence Jalbert

35 ans… Et je cherche encore celebrates the album that introduced Laurence Jalbert in 1990 and established her as one of Quebec’s most distinctive singing voices. Featuring now-iconic songs including Tomber, Rage, Les yeux noirs, À toi, En courant and Au nom de la raison, her debut album was a resounding success, with 180,000 copies sold, a 150-performance tour and two Félix awards at the ADISQ Gala. Now, accompanied by her musicians, Laurence Jalbert revisits this foundational repertoire with the depth, intensity and mastery of a great performer. More than a look back at a landmark album, 35 ans… Et je cherche encore is a vibrant encounter with a wholehearted artist, an expressive voice and songs that continue to stand the test of time.
