Ménopause

Ménopause, the musical parody, takes a hilarious and heartfelt look at what women experience during menopause. Four women from very different backgrounds meet by chance at a lingerie sale and discover they have at least one thing in common: menopause. Memory loss, hot flashes, night sweats and sex lives become the subjects of a lighthearted celebration of sisterhood. Starring Guylaine Tanguay, Claudine Mercier, Geneviève Charest and Catherine Sénart, and directed by Alexis Pitkevitch, the show features parodies of popular English-language hits from the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s, adapted into French by Danièle Lorain. Men are also welcome to better understand what the women in their lives are experiencing—and laugh along with them.
