The Piano Men Starring Jim Witter

The Piano Men is a musical celebration of the 1970s—year by year, hit by hit—through the songbooks of Billy Joel and Elton John. Award-winning Canadian recording artist Jim Witter, at the grand piano, and his band lead a musical journey that begins with “Your Song” and includes favourites such as “My Life,” “Candle in the Wind,” “Rocket Man” and “Just the Way You Are.” Visuals on a giant screen revisit the newspaper headlines, cars, people, events, toys and television shows that shaped the decade. Rather than mimicking the original performers, Witter brings his tenor voice to these familiar songs for an evening of musical memories.
