Broue

Since its first performance on March 21, 1979, Broue has grown beyond comedy to become a source of national pride in Quebec. Its colourful characters are part of the collective imagination, portraying pre-referendum Quebec on the eve of women’s arrival in that hallowed institution: the tavern. Bob, Pointu, Verrue, Travolta and all the others continue to bring laughter. Come—or come back—and raise a glass at the Tavern! And… ladies welcome! Featuring Benoît Brière, Luc Guérin and Martin Drainville. Written by Claude Meunier, Jean-Pierre Plante, Francine Ruel, Louis Saia, Michel Côté, Marcel Gauthier and Marc Messier.
