GUY NANTEL BIENVEILLANT

With the news full of explosive topics, strong opinions and homegrown contradictions, comedian Guy Nantel returns with a brand-new show bearing an intriguing title: Bienveillant (Benevolent). Yes, you read that right. BENEVOLENT. Not exactly the word that springs to mind for a comedian known for his outspokenness, critical eye and uncompromising sociopolitical humour. The title certainly sets the tone! Nantel has always been a distinctive voice, daring to say out loud what everyone else is thinking. With biting insight and well-placed irony, he puts his finger on our collective failings, inconsistencies and the major debates of our time, much to audiences’ delight. In his seventh career show, Guy Nantel continues to do what he does best: surprise us, disarm us and, above all, make us laugh out loud! But one question remains: how does he do it with benevolence? We can’t wait to see—and especially hear. It certainly sounds promising!
