PREMIER CIEL L’HÉRITAGE MUSICAL D’HARMONIUM

Experience a deeply moving musical performance as Harmonium’s classics, including selections from L’Heptade, come to life through a fresh and meaningful perspective. Maude Locat (daughter of Serge Locat) and Julie Valois (daughter of Louis Valois and Monique Fauteux) take the stage alongside their fellow Premier Ciel musicians, the only ensemble recognized by Serge Fiori to bring this legendary repertoire back to life. Drawing on their unique connection to music that has been part of their lives since childhood, they offer a sensitive and authentic rediscovery of the iconic group’s work. For nearly twenty-five years, these seven passionate musicians have performed across Quebec with faithful and powerful interpretations. Passing this music from one generation to the next, the show celebrates Harmonium’s legacy with authenticity and tenderness. Combining iconic songs, archival material, projections, lighting and carefully crafted staging, this concert—fifty years after Harmonium’s final performance—invites you on a moving, rare and precious journey between memory and music.
