Le Shock sur scène

After more than 25 years in music, Stefie Shock revisits his repertoire in a format that is both simple and new: a power trio. For the first time on stage, he plays bass himself—an instrument he usually plays on his albums. This new approach gives the show a distinctly rhythmic, direct and natural feel. Joined by drummer Guillaume Lebel and keyboardist Jonathan Cayer, he presents minimalist arrangements that put the groove, melodies and lyrics front and centre. The repertoire spans more than two decades of songwriting and includes songs rarely or never performed live. Familiar songs take on a fresh character, driven by a tight-knit, infectious trio.
