This cross-cultural musical encounter brings together classical guitar, bandolim, bass clarinet and tabla to create a unique, organic soundscape. Joined by Isabelle Gaudreau and Saulo Olmedo Evans, Lucas Melo and Enzo Lord Mariano explore fresh combinations of poetry sung in French and Portuguese, South American rhythms enriched by Indian percussion, and catchy melodies punctuated by sensitive, dynamic improvisations, all coloured by Quebec’s northern character. Each piece weaves a living connection between the soul of Brazil and that of Quebec, celebrating the cultural diversity of contemporary Quebec. With two musical creations to their credit, Instância (2021) and MUDA (2023), the artists invite listeners on a sonic journey where borders dissolve into the universality of music.
