Mentana

A frolic. A celebration. A shared moment. Mentana presents Les Frolics, a vibrant, unifying show built around the band’s first album entirely in French. Inspired by Acadian frolics—communal work gatherings that ended in a grand celebration—the project brings music, storytelling and collective energy to the stage in a direct, warm and lively performance. Recorded live off the floor in the Îles-de-la-Madeleine, the album and the show it inspired are rooted in passing down traditions, memory and the tangible pleasure of being together. On stage, Les Frolics quickly becomes a gathering: it begins with words and stories, then builds until the audience is on its feet.
