In Loubess, which means “What’s new?” in Wolof, Élage Diouf presents an intimate show exploring his life and career. Originally from Senegal and having arrived in Quebec in the mid-1990s, the singer-songwriter shares anecdotes about his experiences and memorable collaborations, including his work with Dédé Fortin of Les Colocs. Accompanied by two multi-instrumentalists, he takes audiences on a musical journey from Dakar to Montreal, featuring songs from his early albums rearranged for the occasion alongside several previously unreleased tracks.
