Fiction - Leone Volta

A double bill featuring Fiction and Leone Volta. Fiction is a Montreal-based project offering gentle folk rock with pop inflections, led by Marlie Robertson on drums and vocals, alongside Vincent Deit on electric guitar, Florence Labelle on violin and vocals, and Oscar Robertson on bass. Its nuanced music draws on soul, Motown, Americana and folk, incorporating Robertson’s background in jazz and electroacoustic music. Leone Volta is the project of singer-songwriter Anthony Cayouette. His debut EP, Paysages Parallèles (2023), explores solitude and self-questioning through melodies blending pop rock and classical influences with cinematic nostalgia. On stage, his guitar and synthesizer textures, ranging from rock-driven to atmospheric, invite an introspective experience.
