Carl Mayotte

Carl Mayotte presents music from his upcoming album, Claude, in a concert that combines his band’s energy and virtuosity with a more emotional, introspective dimension. Inspired by his apartment fire in 2023 and his father’s death in 2024, this intimate and luminous work blends nostalgia, joyful memories and release. Its sound draws on contemporary jazz, indie pop and the current English fusion scene. With this project, the bassist and composer pays tribute to his father, Claude Mayotte.
