Andréanne A. Malette

In this show inspired by her tribute album to Françoise Hardy, Andréanne A. Malette traces the invisible thread connecting her own story to that of the French icon. Against a 1960s-inspired backdrop, their worlds intersect and their songs echo one another as she shares personal anecdotes that are sometimes touching and often funny. Accompanied by her three longtime musicians, she creates a gentle sense of nostalgia, with music evoking a not-so-distant era when people took the time to feel. A moment suspended between two eras, inviting the audience to simply drift for a while.
