Under the theme “Cost of living crisis, authoritarian attacks, precarious climate: popular resistance!”, this free, public event, open to everyone in Gatineau, aims to foster dialogue, citizen mobilization, the convergence of collective initiatives and social struggles, as well as pre-election action and demands directed at candidates. Inspired by the MÉPACQ’s provincial Riposte populaire! campaign, it invites people to come together to collectively respond to the cost of living crisis, social setbacks, attacks on rights, the rise of authoritarian rhetoric and the climate emergency. This day is a call to action, solidarity and the building of a popular resistance rooted in communities.
