Singer and musician Martin Giroux is a seasoned performer. He first became known through Star Académie in 2004, before taking on roles in major musical productions presented in Quebec and Europe, including Dracula, Notre-Dame de Paris and PUB ROYAL – La comédie musicale des Cowboys Fringants. He returns with a show paying tribute to Richard Desjardins, which he has performed in front of his idol and role model. Desjardins’s lyrics and melodies are at the heart of this concert, interspersed with personal anecdotes connected to Giroux’s love of his songs. On stage, Martin Giroux sings and plays guitar, accompanied by pianist Catherine Maurais. A simple yet deeply comforting experience.
