Over the two weeks that the magnificent blooming of the magnolia lights up the window of his room, “the man who looks like me” questions his life, before and after death, confronting his doubts and certainties.
Between a medical appointment and the choice of an urn from a catalog, between a first love and a walk in the forest with his grandson, “the man who looks like me” speaks in monologue, poetry, and song as he searches for the “greater-than-self.”
Michel Rivard presents a solo show that is both intimate and universal, where song and text blend to touch the heart of what it means to be human.

Durant les deux semaines que dure la magnifique floraison du magnolia qui illumine la fenêtre de sa chambre, «l'homme qui me ressemble» se questionne sur sa vie, avant et après la mort, en confrontant ses doutes et ses certitudes.
