SUMMARY:Urinetown Presented By Meadowvale Music Theatre
DESCRIPTION:Meadowvale Theatre is a performing arts facility and community cultural hub. Recently re-opened after undergoing renovations\, audiences will be welcomed back to a revitalized space\, where they can once again enjoy live performances and events. The theatre is accessibly designed. Features include: Accessible drop-off zone near main entrance Accessible washrooms Accessible seating Assistive hearing devices available Net Capacity: 395 Urinetown is a musical satire of the legal system\, capitalism\, social irresponsibility\, populism\, environmental collapse\, privatization of natural resources and bureaucracy. In a Gotham-like city\, a terrible water shortage\, caused by a 20-year drought\, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities\, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission. Amid the people\, a hero decides that hes had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom! Hilariously funny and touchingly honest\, Urinetown provides a fresh perspective on one of Americas greatest art forms. Audience Rating - PG13
